Operations
February 1, 2026 –February 28, 2026
•Training: Operations members completed in-house and off-site training over
the following topics: Various wildland firefighting certifications at the Red
River Valley Wildland Academy, EMS Protocol Review, and New Hire
Orientation.
•Standby Events: SHS Football Games (0), TSU Football Games (0), TSU
EECU Center (9)
•TIFMAS Deployments: 1 member deployed as a Strike Team Leader
(Trainee) with an All-Hazard Wildland assistance Team to areas from
Childress to Brownwood for 14 days.
•Pub Ed: Crews hosted the Boy Scouts' annual badge weekend and
provided training on Fire Safety and Search & Rescue.
•We currently have 1 vacancy in operations. 1 member attending the TSTC
Paramedic program, 1 member attending the Weatherford College
Paramedic program, 1 member attending the School of EMS Paramedic
program. 1 member just completed the Training Division Fire Academy and
obtained her TCFP certificate as a Basic Firefighter.
