MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD

MINUTES
The Main Street Advisory Board of the City of Stephenville, Texas, convened on Thursday, February 13, 2025, in
the City Hall Conference Room, for the purpose of a Main Street Advisory Board, with the meeting being open to
the public and notice of said meeting, giving the date, time, place and subject thereof, having been posted as
prescribed by Chapter 551, Government Code, Vernon's Texas Codes Annotated, with the following members
present, to wit:
BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Scott Allen
Dr. Aimee Shouse
Carleen Sutton
Kennedy Voelker
BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: Rita Cook, Joycelyn Perez
OTHERS ATTENDING: Ashley Thomas, Main Street Manager
Darrell Brown, Director of Administrative Services
LeAnn Durfey, Council Person, Place 1
CALL TO ORDER
Meeting was called to order by Ashley Thomas at 10:02am.
REGULAR AGENDA
Approve previous minutes dated January 23, 2025
Motion to approve minutes made by Dr. Aimee Shouse, second by Scott Allen. Motion passed.
Managers’ Report
The managers’ report began with each attendee introducing themselves. The Manager’s report is made
part of these minutes.
Officer Elections
There was a consensus from the members present that the Officer Elections be postponed until the next
Main Street Meeting scheduled for March 13, 2025.
Board Member Training
Ashley provided an Advisory Board Orientation training to both new and existing Main Street Board
Members.
2025 Work Plan Discussion
The following items were discussed as potential items to place in the Work Plan.

Adding a Western Cowboy Statue
Creating a Sculpture Garden (Abstract/Interactive Sculptures) downtown
History Stories along the Bosque River Trail
Heritage Day Celebration
By Gone Days
Town and Gown Coalition host a picnic, painting contest, yell contest, sidewalk painting in conjunction with
university events.
Work on more accessibility from University to Downtown
Conduct a Mural Contest Downtown
CITIZENS GENERAL DISCUSSION
ADJOURN
With no further business at hand, the meeting was adjourned at 11:20am
