MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD

MINUTES
The Main Street Advisory Board of the City of Stephenville, Texas, convened on Thursday, March 13, 2025, in
the City Hall Conference Room, for the purpose of a Main Street Advisory Board, with the meeting being open to
the public and notice of said meeting, giving the date, time, place and subject thereof, having been posted as
prescribed by Chapter 551, Government Code, Vernon's Texas Codes Annotated, with the following members
present, to wit:
BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Scott Allen
Dr. Rita Cook
Carleen Sutton
Kennedy Voelker
BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: Joycelyn Perez, Dr. Aimee Shouse
Staff Member Absent: Ashley Thomas, MainStreet Manager
OTHERS ATTENDING:
Darrell Brown, Director of Administrative Services
Alyee Whitworth, Tourism Manager
CALL TO ORDER
Meeting was called to order by Dr. Rita Cook at 9:55 am.
REGULAR AGENDA
Approve previous minutes dated February 13, 2025
Motion to approve minutes made by Scott Allen, second by Carleen Sutton. Motion passed.
Managers’ Report
The Manager’s report is made part of these minutes.
Officer Elections
Motion made by Scott Allen for Rita Cook to continue as President, seconded by Carleen Sutton. Motion
passed
Motion made by Dr. Rita Cook that Joycelyn Perez continue as Secretary, seconded by Scott Allen. Motion
passed
2025 Work Plan Discussion
Dr. Cook asked Board Members to review the Main Street Board Report Recommendations dated June 6,
2022 to identify accomplishments and highlight items to carry over to work plan 2025. She also suggested that
the members come together to take a walk around the square to identify different projects not previously listed.
Dr. Cook would like to present the Work Plan 2025 to the City Council Committee meeting in May 2025.
