June 2025 Activity Report
Operations
June 1, 2025 – June 28, 2025
Operations members completed 1584 hours of in-house and off-site
Fire/EMS Training.
Topics included: Mid-Rise Fire Operations, Hose Deployment, Search &
Rescue, PPE Drills, Scene Size-Up, Emergency burn care, EMS
Protocol Review. Four members remain in Paramedic School through
TSTC Brownwood, and one member is in the EMT-Advanced program
through Training Division.
Standby Events:
o 10 members and the Operations Chief provided standby throughout
the 3 days of Moo-La Fest (3 Patient contacts / No Transports).
o Landing Zone set-up for Ranger College EMT program graduation at
Ranger College.
o Crews attended quarterly Birthday party at Foster’s Home for
Children,
o Crews provided fire safety standby for the American Legion Flag
Disposal Ceremony.
o operations crews and the Operations Chief worked with local and
regional law enforcement to provide Fire/EMS standby/care during
the “No-Kings” Rally (1 Transport due to heat exhaustion).
Public Education: Operations Crews and the EMS Chief facilitated First
Aid and Lifeguard Training at Splashville.
TIFMAS Deployments: No Deployments
A third-party contractor completed our annual Hose and Ladder Testing
for all ground/aerial ladders as well as all apparatus mounted and stored
hose.
We have opened the hiring process for 2 vacant FF/EMT/Paramedic
position and plan to have this position filled in late August / early
September.
